Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for January 21st, 2021. In today’s article, we’ve got a ton of new releases to look at. There are even a few really good games today, which is a break from recent patterns. That’s a good thing, because there’s next to nothing going in terms of new sales. The New Year’s Sale is winding down, however, and we’ve got a giant list of outgoing sales that you really should check out before it’s too late. Let’s head on in!
New Releases
Tadpole Treble Encore ($8.99)

Wow, this is kind of great. This game was originally released on home computers a few years back to critical acclaim and a whole lot of praise, and it only takes a few minutes of playing with it to see why. It’s an incredibly charming rhythm game with a fun story and an excellent mode where you can compose your own pieces. The built-in soundtrack is fantastic, and the gameplay, which sees you moving your character along musical staves, is just plain enjoyable. This Encore version adds a new stage and some new unlockables on top of the already solid base. All this for nine bucks" Super.
