SwitchArcade Roundup: 'Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition', 'Little Nightmares', New eShop Game Sales
Welcome to the SwitchArcade Roundup for Friday, May 18th! A bunch of interesting sales hit the eShop, and we're running them down today, along with new releases like Hyrule Warriors. Honestly, what I'm most excited about today is the announcement of Cat Quest 2. The first game was great; The Gentlebros really delivered on the potential of the RPG premise, and I would love to see what they have in mind for the sequel.
New Releases
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition ($59.99)
Nintendo partners up with Omega Force and Team Ninja to deliver the Zelda take on musou, aka Dynasty Warriors, where you slash your way through hundreds and thousands of enemies on the battlefield, while also commanding your army. This edition contains all the content from the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game, and adds in new Breath of the Wild content. There are 29 playable characters in total, including different variations of Link throughout the years, and Linkle, a female take on Link. If you missed out on this one on the Wii U and/or 3DS, now might be a good time to check this one out. I do wish these Wii U to Switch ports were a bit less than full price, but I guess if you haven't played it, it's new to you"
