‘CrossFire: Warzone’ Has Been Updated with Customization Options, a Season Pass and the Community-Led Alliance Festival
CrossFire: Warzone has received its first major update since launch today. This brings players a whole host of customization options to further personalize their experience alongside an event called the Alliance Festival and the introduction of a Challenger Pass.
The Challenger Pass will provide players with a host of missions to complete, should they choose to buy it, that will net them a plethora of rewards. They’ll also receive the legendary officer Jean alongside a base skin and chat bubble. The pass will run for 42, giving players plenty of time to earn all of those goodies.
The Alliance Festival, meanwhile, will be a community-driven event that will allow players’ in-game alliances to designate individual missions to their members. If that mission is completed by a set deadline their alliance will earn a point. At the culmination of the event, the number of points they have collectively racked up will determine the rewards the whole of the alliance will receive. So it’s set to be a real team effort.
As mentioned, several customization options have also been added to the game, allowing players to swap to a different base skin. They’ll also be able to add a custom frame to their commander portrait and have a distinct chat bubble and name tag when in the chatroom. According to Joycity, this is the first of many customization options, with more slated to arrive at a later date.
