‘GRID Autosport’ for Android Gets a Multiplayer Beta Test and You Can Sign Up for It Here
Feral Interactive’s GRID Autosport ($9.99) is still one of the best looking portable racing games on any platform. When it launched on iOS, it brought true console quality visuals and depth to the platform for racing. It also manages to do everything without resorting to a ton of in app purchases for items. Recent patches have made it pretty great as well as shown below:
The closed beta will get access to a test build and not be allowed to share screenshots or footage. The test will be for the 4 player multiplayer mode for the upcoming Android port. Feral Interactive has also detailed the recommended specifications for Android and they are Android 8.0 or later, 4GB RAM, an Exynos 8890 Octa or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU, Mali-T880 MP12 or Adreno 530 GPU. They may allow devices below these into the beta but can’t guarantee performance. Hopefully we learn about the final device requirements soon. You can sign up for it here.
If you’ve not checked it out yet, read our review of GRID Autosport and go buy it if you enjoy racing games on iOS. I’m constantly impressed by the post launch support Feral gives its releases on iOS. GRID Autosport is also coming to Switch later this year alongside the Android version. Are you enjoying it on iOS or waiting for the Switch port"
