‘Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA’ Is Now Set to Arrive on iOS and Android in 2020 and Here Are Some New Details
Originally announced to release on mobile worldwide, the fantastic Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA just got some new details including a final name ahead of its showing at TGS 2019. Tokyo Game Show 2019 will feature multiple games from tons of publishers and Ys VIII Mobile (title to be confirmed) will be one of them. If you’ve never heard of this franchise before, you can check out two games on iOS and Android in the form of Ys Chronicles 1 ($4.99) and Ys Chronicles II ($4.99) from DotEmu. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA on mobile will be released from Linekong Entertainment and Nihon Falcom. Today, Linekong Entertainment has confirmed that it will release next year on iOS and Android and it will feature a brand new character. Rucol is a young bandit girl who TGS 2019 attendees can take on in a boss fight in the new demo for Ys VIII Mobile. I wonder how they will add a new character to the story because while this had a much bigger story focus than all other Ys games, it felt complete on PS4 and Switch with the additional content and characters.
