Last Christmas, Blizzard gave us one very fun Hearthstone [Free] Tavern Brawl called Gift Exchange which was all about stealing presents from each other. Today, with a month's delay, we are getting Gift Exchange once more, and it's one of the best ones to play. The way this Brawl works is you build your deck and then you try to get the various crates that will drop on both sides of the field (they drop whenever there's no crate on that side of the board). Those crates contain stolen gifts, cards that allow you to Discover expensive powerful cards that you can play at a discount. Yes, there's RNG there, but it's good RNG because of the Discover mechanic. You can even break your own side's crates, so keep that in mind.

This is a really fun Brawl, even if it feels a bit out of place in February. Just make sure you take enough removal along to be able to get your hands on those boxes before your opponent does. When you win in the Brawl, you get a very lovely Christmas card back identical to the one from previous Gift Exchange brawls. If you already have that card back, you'll get your pack as usual.
