At the Square Enix Presents Digital Event, Square Enix announced two new mobile projects and revealed a new trailer for the upcoming Just Cause Mobile. Just Cause Mobile is still set for 2021 on iOS and Android. The Just Cause Mobile campaign will feature characters from the series who will help players in missions. Just Cause Mobile‘s campaign is set across three open world locations across the world and it will also feature series protagonist Rico Rodriguez. The second mobile announcement from Square Enix is a new collaboration between Taito and Square Enix Montreal. If you’ve not paid attention to Square Enix Montreal for whatever reason, Square Enix Montreal brought us the superb Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO, and more. This project is a Space Invaders augmented reality game that features a modern art style. Taito and Square Enix want to expand the Space Invaders universe with this release.
