Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for May 6th, 2020. There’s a big thunderstorm going on outside my office right now, but I’m assuming if you’re reading this that I did not get zapped by lightning or anything. In today’s article, we’ve got some news about upcoming releases and special events, along with a nice list of fresh sales to check out. Tomorrow will have more than a dozen new releases, but today doesn’t seem to have a whole lot going on in that regard. That’s how it is sometimes. Let’s dig into what we’ve got!

‘Arrest of a Stone Buddha’ Hits Switch on May 21st

One of the more interesting indie titles to hit the Switch last year was The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa, from publisher Circle Entertainment and developer yeo. It immersed you in the world of a Japanese hooligan who was finishing out his last year of high school, giving you a great deal of choice in how his day-to-day life played out. That same pairing returns with the upcoming Switch release of Arrest of a Stone Buddha, which sees you playing as a hitman in France in the 1970s. It promises yet another unique blend of story-telling, non-linear progression, and action gameplay.
