‘Super Mario Maker 2’ Gets One Last Big Update Tomorrow

The update schedule for Mario Maker 2 has been a bit underwhelming when compared to that of the Wii U original. In fact, this is only the second major update to the game. And guess what" It’s apparently the last one! While we may see some minor updates here and there in the future, this is going to be the final big drop. The good news" This update reads like a massive list of wishes being granted. Super Mario Bros. 2 stuff" Yes, albeit only through a power-up mushroom and a few new items and enemies. Extra suits" You get the Frog Suit, the P-Balloon, the Acorn Suit, the Boomerang Suit, and some interesting new ones. The Koopalings" They’re all here!
But the biggest of all: you can now make your own full game, complete with overworld map and multiple themes for worlds. You can build up to 8 worlds with 40 levels. That’s not quite as big as later 2D Mario games, but hey, it’s awesome anyway. There are some...
