Gameloft announced the release of Asphalt Xtreme on mobile. The off-road racing game allows users to race through multiple environments using 35 different vehicles.
In Asphalt Xtreme, players can complete more than 400 events in the game’s career mode, as well as over 500 mastery challenges. Users can also compete in limited-time events. Finally, users can compete against other players in eight-player real-time multiplayer races.

In each race, vehicles accelerate automatically, and players can tilt their devices to steer. Users can also tap on the left and right sides of the screen to brake and activate nitro, respectively.
The game’s vehicles are split into seven different categories: Monster Truck, Muscle Car, Buggy, Pickup, Rally Car, SUV and Truck. Players begin with a single vehicle, and they can buy additional vehicles in the game’s store. In addition, users can upgrade their vehicles over time to improve their performance. Specifically, players can collect upgrade parts as they complete races, and these parts can be used, along with currency, to upgrade a vehicle’s stats.
Finally, users can complete vehicle mastery races to unlock new paint decals for their vehicles.
Asphalt Xtreme is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store, Google Play and the Windows Store.
