NBC News? Commander-in-Chief Forum was the top television series or special for the week of Sept. 5, while the National Football League dominated sports, according to the most recent Social Content Ratings from Nielsen.
For series and specials, the Commander-in-Chief Forum and the 2017 Miss America Competition on ABC were the only two to top 1 million social interactions, at 1.72 million and 1.43 million, respectively.
And NFL games accounted for nine of the top 10 sports events in terms of social interactions, with one college football game cracking the list, University of Mississippi versus Florida State University. The New York Giants? victory over the host Dallas Cowboys topped the list, with 7.872 million total interactions.
