Pandora Reveals Most Thumbed Up Songs of 2016
Pandora revealed the 100 most “thumbed up” songs on its platform in 2016.
Rihanna took the top place on the list, with Work (Feat. Drake). Drake’s One Dance (Feat. Wizkid and Kyla) came in second place, and another of Rihanna’s songs, Needed Me, came in third.
Overall, Drake had the most songs on the list, at 14. Drake was followed by Future with eight songs and Rihanna with five.
Drake also led all other artists in terms of collaborations, with six on the list. Drake was followed by Ty Dolla $ign and Rihanna, who each had two.
All told, hip-hop was the most popular genre on the top 100 list, accounting for 42 songs. Pop came in second with 29, and R&B placed third with 15 songs on the list.
