Prisma Now Lets Users Stream to Facebook With Real-Time Video Effects
Photo- and video-editing application Prisma received an update on iOS that allows users on iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 to stream live on Facebook with the app’s visual effects applied to their streams.
Specifically, with this update, users can open the Prisma app and tap the “Live Stream” button to access the live-streaming area of the app. From there, users can tap the filter button in the top-left corner of the screen to choose from eight filters before going live (users can also change filters while streaming).
Once a user has selected a filter, they can tap the “Live to Facebook” button to begin streaming. The app allows users to make their streams private or viewable by their friends, “friends of friends” or the public. While streaming, the app shows users their viewer count and comments. Users can also tap a button to switch between the front- and rear-facing cameras while streaming. Users can tap a “Finish” button to end their live streams.
Prisma is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store.
