Nexon, Respawn Entertainment and developer Particle City announced Titanfall: Frontline, a collectible card game set in the Titanfall universe.
Titanfall: Frontline will allow players to become brigade commanders and compete against other players in real-time using “Pilot,” “Titan” and “special ability Burn Cards.” Players will be able to collect and upgrade hundreds of cards, and they will be able to create unique decks that fit their play styles.

Nexon and Respawn Entertainment announced their partnership to create Titanfall mobile games last October. In connection with this partnership, Nexon and Respawn Entertainment jointly invested in Particle City, which was formed in 2015 by Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella and industry veteran Larry Pacey. Titanfall: Frontline will be the first game from the multi-game, multi-year partnership between the three companies. In a statement, Pacey commented:
We?ve worked hand-in-hand with Respawn to weave in card battle strategy and collectibility with the iconic gameplay elements that make Titanfall so unique and that will help evolve the genre. From dropping a Titan onto the field of play to turn the tide of battle to using a combination of Parkour and Rodeo Burn Cards to take a Titan down, Titanfall: Frontline is unapologetically intense and utterly Titanfall.
