Twitter Dublin Managing Director Mark Little Steps Down
Mark Little, managing director of Twitter Dublin and vice president of media for Europe and Africa, is the latest Twitter executive to pass through the revolving door.
Little told Ciara O?Brien of The Irish Times:
For several months, Twitter has been considering changes to its media partnerships team, which I led in Europe. In October, the decision was made to restructure the team and locate its leadership roles in the U.S.
I was asked to consider a possible return to the U.S., where I was living when I joined Twitter, or building on my role as Twitter?s managing director in Dublin. I decided that neither would be the right fit for me or Twitter Dublin and opted for a mutually agreed exit from the company.
Little tweeted about his future plans, or lack thereof: To those who’ve asked, no definite plans. Taking some time to reconnect with my roots in news at a time of big challenges and big opportunity.
O?Brien reported that Little, who previously worked as a journalist with RTE, took on the role of managing director of Twitter Dublin when Stephen McIntyre left the company in June.
