Twitter is taking its ?What?s Happening Now? campaign to the streets?the streets of Manhattan, to be exact.
Chief marketing officer Leslie Berland announced the outdoor?and underground?campaign in a blog post:
Questions and answers, statements and trends–it?s happening right now on Twitter all around the world. In July, we took a step to better define and articulate what Twitter is for. Today, we?ll bring the expression of Twitter in the world out into the world. Take a stroll down the streets of New York City: Watts Street and Canal Street, 36th Street between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue, and more. In the coming days and weeks, you?ll see more work that reflects and highlights the biggest stories unfolding on Twitter today, and every day.
