Crash A Robot Party With Neurovoider
The robots have taken over Earth and are throwing a huge party after getting rid of all humans. We can't have that, so you, presumably the last human, reduced to a brain in a jar, break out of your predicament, enter a robotic body, and go out there to cause some trouble for those pesky tin cans! Now shoot your way through small mazes full of evil robots, face fearsome bosses, and be sure to collect all the loot. But be careful: you've only got one life.
Neurovoider combines twin-stick action, the loot-based gameplay of action-rpgs, and the random generation of roguelikes into one irresistible package. There are three base classes of robots for every play style - pick a Dash if you're into close combat, pick a Rampage for a good balance between speed and sturdiness, or pick a Fortress if you like big, bulky tanks with enormous firepower. You can change those classes at anytime, just swap out the respective parts. Loot is dropping like candy, anyway, so experimenting with different stuff is more than encouraged.
The real joy lies in the customization. You're allowed to take two guns with you into combat, and you can mix and match to your heart's content. Double-wielding rocket launchers, a flamethrower combined with a gauss rifle, shotguns and grenades - you name it. There are a ton of different weapons in the game, and selling unneeded stock provides you with enough money to upgrade your existing loadout even further.
