Heads Will Roll In Classical Art Platformer Gathernomoss

You're a head sans a body in Adrien Poncet's Gathernomoss. Usually that would be quite an issue, but thankfully here, your head rolls just fine. Against a backdrop of classical artwork, your disembodied must navigate a gauntlet of enemies, hazards, and hapless civilians, on your quest to find a suitable trunk.

One might imagine a body-less head would be pretty defenseless, but Gathernomoss proves otherwise. Your head can leap and roll with ease, dodging flames, polearms, and roaming guards as you travel through countrysides and villages. Other challenges include physics-based puzzles, using a catapult to fling your head over incoming armies, and maintaining your momentum rolling down steep enemy-filled hills.
But even a simple head might not be enough to tackle the dangers of Gathernomoss' levels. A precision headbutt will explode an enemy's skull and let you take control of their headless body. You can gain the strengths of the body you possess, so guards can let you wield weapons such as spears and sabers.

Gathernomoss is in development for PC, and doesn't have a release timeframe at the moment. You can follow the game's progress on Twitter.
