Void & Meddler, a cyberpunk point & click game, follows Fyn as she tries to put an end to two years spent among dangerous strangers, seeking the pure memories that she somehow lacks. The second episode, which has just released, continues following her on her journey deeper into a world of criminals, lost souls, and synthesized music.
Void & Meddler's new episode takes players deep into queer nightclubs that deal in pure hormones, have them dealing with a strange pirated video that's been doing the rounds on the black market, and joins them with detectives investigating a disappearance with a lizard. It's a surreal experience colored with vibrant shades, taking players into a cyberpunk world that seems delirious with drugs and waking nightmares with its visuals.
All of this is complemented by the developers' background in music, as they have brought a synthesized, electronic sound that pulses with noise and throbbing bass. It's an audio and visual dreamscape, one meant to drag you into the mindset of its unsympathetic main character as you follow her deeper into her own darkness.
