It has been revealed that this years Gamescom show will indeed be cancelled due to the Coronavirus. Earlier this year, E3 2020 was also cancelled and now the big gaming show in Germany will follow suite. Gamescom 2020 was supposed to take place in late August but will now feature a online show in place, so all is not lost. I am eager to hear more about these digital presentations and hope that they could prove t be just as good as the live shows.
