As of July 2018, Splatoon 2 has an attach rate of 56.78% in Japan (which makes the game a pretty BIG DEAL in Japan). This means that 1 in 2 Switch owners have purchased Splatoon 2 in the country. This is an astonishing amount and Nintendo HAS to be more than pleased with this crazy number. Splatoon 2 was released a year ago now and still continues to be very popular on the Switch. I absolutely love the game and I cannot wait to see more from the series. It took me a while to “get what the big deal was about” but it finally happened. I always thought that the game was a good game but something recently just “clicked” and I finally “got” what all the hype was about (hopefully I am making sense in what I mean). Congrats Nintendo and Splatoon 2. Here’s to Splatoon 3!
