It looks like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is off to an outstanding start. The newly released title has become the fastest-selling Mario Kart in the historic franchises history. With more than 459,000 combined packaged and digital sales in the U.S. on launch day alone (April 28), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch system is the fastest-selling game in the long-running Mario Kart series. The previous record was set by Mario Kart Wii when it sold 433,900 when it launched back in 2008. Looks like amazing news for Nintendo. I can’t wait to see first months sales as the game was only released Friday.
