Nintendo E3 2019 Plans: Nintendo Direct June 11th
Nintendo has announced their official plans for E3 2019. They will be hosting a Nintendo Direct show on June 11th at 12:00pm EST. The weekend before the show will include two competitions featuring top players of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2 games from around the world. It seems similar to what they have been doing over the past 2 years and I think it’s a great way to kick off E3 2019 week. The presentation will only focus on upcoming software for the Nintendo Switch. Fans hoping for a redesigned Switch (myself included) may have to look elsewhere. Seeing that they have a TON of games to show off for 2019, we can’t wait to see the show.
Here are more of Nintendo?s activities at E3 2019 include:
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2 Tournaments: The team-based Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3 and the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 tournaments will take place on Saturday, June 8, at The Theatre at Ace Hotel at 929 S. Broadway St. in Los Angeles. Both events will feature players from North America, Europe, Japan and Australia/New Zealand. The line for entry starts forming at 8 a.m. in front of The Theatre at Ace Hotel. Fans who want to catch the competitions in person can gain free entry after receiving an event badge in line on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and competition is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. People who prefer to watch the competitions online can visit https://e3.nintendo....
