Battlefield 1 Review Embargo Lifts Ahead of the Early Enlister Edition



Review aggregator Open Critic has revealed that the Battlefield 1 review embargo is expected to lift on Monday, October 17 at 3am PT/6am ET. The official release for Battlefield 1 is October 21, but those who pre-order the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition ($79.99 USD) will be able to play the full game beginning on October 18.
Currently, EA Access and Origin Access members on Xbox One and PC can play Battlefield 1 via the Play First Trial, which offers 10 hours of limited multiplayer (five maps and four modes) and single-player (Storm of Steel and Through Mud and Blood missions) gameplay.
According to the PlayStation Store, Battlefield 1 for PlayStation 4 is a 42.4GB download. The Early Enlister Deluxe Edition unlocks at 12am ET on October 18, while the standard edition unlocks at 12am ET on October 21. Thanks to the Play First Trial, it’s been revealed that one of the single-player missions, Through Mud and Blood, lets you play as a pigeon.
