Bungie Job Listing Suggests Destiny 2 Will See Regular Small Narrative Releases
With Activision aiming to release Destiny 2 next year, Bungie has listed quite a few job vacancies on its website, the most notable one of which is that of Live Narrative Director. According to a description, the developer is looking for someone who will “direct the storytelling efforts for regular, small-scale Destiny releases throughout the calendar year,” suggesting that the upcoming sequel will receive ongoing narrative updates. The listing states:
Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of interactive storytelling with strong organizational and leadership skills as well as an ability to work with external partners. With a focus on cross-departmental collaboration, this is a wonderful opportunity to work with and direct a talented team of storytellers while delivering compelling narratives in the Destiny universe.Â
Under the Responsibilities section, Bungie writes:
Rapidly iterate on small-scale projects on a condensed timeline and ensure successful completion.
We’ll update our readers when we have more info. In the meantime, let us know what you think of this.
