Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta Suffering From Matchmaking Issues, Activision Investigating
The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta is now live on the PlayStation 4 but not without its issues. A plethora of players have taken to Twitter to report that they’re unable to get into a match, prompting Activision Support to respond with the following:
Experiencing issues with Matchmaking on the Infinite Warfare Beta" We’re aware and looking into it, Stay tuned for updates!
As of this writing, the tech team is merely pointing people to its feedback survey and bug report form but we’ll update our readers when there’s any further development.
Interestingly, when one user asked Activision whether the beta progress will carry over to the full game, the company said that it didn’t have any information on this at the moment. However, a post on PlayStation Blog, which contains beta Q&A, explicitly states that progress won’t carry over. That makes sense and is more than likely what’s going to happen anyway so we wouldn’t assume otherwise. Last but not least, we’re told that the beta is targeting 1080p with a frame-rate of 60fps.
The current Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta ends on Monday, with a second beta following next Friday, October 21.
