Destiny 2?s latest season is now live as the fourth year continues. Season of the Chosen follows Beyond Light and Season of the Hunt, advancing the ongoing story of the Destiny universe and finally introducing us to Calus? daughter, Empress Caiatl. The Cabal take center stage as the antagonists of Season of the Chosen as negotiations to work with the Vanguard fall apart. A new activity called Battlegrounds is the central focus of the Season, controlled from a new Vanguard hub called H.E.L.M. (serious Marvel vibes going on there).
But it?s not just a drop of new content. Season of the Chosen launched with Destiny 2 Update 3.1.0. This update comes with a Cabal drop pod?s worth of patch notes including multiple fixes and adjustments to various pieces of Destiny 2.
