EA Allowing Players to Turn Off Need for Speed Payback Car Wreck Replay Camera

Ghost Games has announced that players will be able to turn off or on Need for Speed Payback‘s car wreck replay camera. As reported by VG247, an Electronic Arts representative has said that the developer received a lot of feedback on the camera sequence, which shows vehicle destruction in slow motion, following the demo EA Play attendees got their hands on earlier this year. Players found the replay disruptive, prompting Ghost Games to make the change.
When we first showcased the Highway Heist back at EA Play, part of the feedback we started to receive centered around the short camera sequence that was displayed when a car crashed. We began to investigate to see what was possible and we?re pleased to confirm that car wreck cameras will be an option you have control over. Keep them on or turn them off, the choice is entirely down to you. That’s a welcome change!
Need for Speed Payback, which will feature an offline single-player mode unlike the 2015 reboot, will release worldwide on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you haven’t already, make sure to check out our hands-on preview from E3 2017.
Any of our readers looking forward to this one"
