For Honor’s Day One Patch Notes Released, Include Hero and UI Fixes



With For Honor players being prompted to download the game’s day one patch upon its release today, Ubisoft has provided an overview of the improvements and fixes it brings. The developer says that going forward, patch notes will be more comprehensive but for now, here’s what we have:
Matchmaking

All countries around the Mediterranean Sea are now part of the European continent

Heroes

Collisions improvements and fixes
Improved animations

Audio

Audio balancing fixes and improvements

User Interface

Fixed a memory leak
Fixed occurrences of major framerate drop
Improved flow in and out of the invitation menu
Multiple localization fixes

Additional Fixes

Stability fixes
Connectivity and matchmaking improvements Metagame bug fixes and UI improvments
Hero Balancing (based on player feedback) ? *** these changes were already implemented during Beta phases ***
Fixed minor issue with the round counter
General bug fixes

In a separate press release today, Ubisoft announced that For Honor‘s beta tests accumulated six million unique players and more than two billion playtime minutes across consoles and PC. On the latter, it was also the biggest beta in the developer’s history with 1.8 million players.
Those who pledged to the winning Knights faction during the beta are entitled to receive their rewards today. Ubisoft also reminded us that additional content including new Heroes, maps, modes and gear will be released across three seasons following launch, ...
