The Minecraft updates keep coming, this time in the form of Bedrock version 1.13.0. It?s a substantial update, with lots of new features. Of note, version 1.13.0 brings you a character creator, improves the map-maker, and interestingly, it adds ?PlayStation-related assets  and translation strings into the game files.? Due to the wording, there?s speculation this could be a sign for some sort of PlayStation cross-play integration, which is something Microsoft has wanted for quite some time.
Sony has slowly been improving its stance on cross-play, allowing the feature in many games on its platforms like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, ReadySet Heroes, and, of course, Fortnite. As cross-play slowly becomes more prevalent, the likelihood of PS4?s version of Minecraft seems to increase.
