NBA 2K17 PS4 Pro Support Detailed, Features Native 4K
Now that PlayStation VR is out in the wild, it’s time for PlayStation 4 owners to anticipate the next big shake-up to the PS4 ecosystem. That would be the PS4 Pro, which is Sony’s upgraded console that will allow games to run at higher resolutions and perform better. Developers have started detailing what features there games will have on the system once it releases on November 10, and the latest to do so is Visual Concepts.
The California-based studio has revealed to Gamespot that their basketball simulation NBA 2K17 will run at 60 frames-per-second, and at a native 4K resolution for those with a 4K display. On top of that, the game will also have HDR support. Those that don’t own a 4K television will also see upgrades as the game will have “much better anti-aliasing.” NBA 2K17 released last month on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In PlayStation LifeStyle’s review of the title, Paulmichael Contreras said that “basketball games don’t get any better than this” and awarded it a 9/10.
