No Man’s Sky Disappears From UK’s September Digital Sales Chart
SuperData has revealed September’s digital sales chart for the UK, and Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky is nowhere to be found. The game, which came out in August, was marred by controversy and mediocre reviews following years of anticipation by fans.
Unsurprisingly, FIFA 17 dominated the charts, generating £9.11m digitally in its first two days. The number two spot was taken by Activision’s Destiny with £4.78m, thanks in part Destiny: The Collection, which released on September 20. Last year’s FIFA 16 claimed the third position, generating £4.35m.
Following is the list of UK’s top ten digital titles for the month of September 2016:
FIFA 17 (EA)
Destiny (Activision)
FIFA 16 (EA)
Call of Duty: Black Ops IIIÂ (Activison)
Grand Theft Auto V (Rockstar)
Star Wars Battlefront (EA)
Forza Horizon 3Â (Microsoft)
Overwatch (Activison)
Tom Clancy’s The Division (Ubisoft)
Rocket League (Psyonix)
Digital revenue-wise, both Electronic Arts and Activision remain the top publishers.
