PlayStation VR Worlds Gets More Details on Each of the Experiences
With less than two months to go until PlayStation VR launches, Sony has announced that they’ll be focusing on one VR game every week in the lead-up to October 13. First up is PlayStation VR Worlds from Sony London Studios, which packs in these five different VR experiences: The London Heist, Ocean Descent (formerly Into The Deep), VR Luge, Danger Ball, and Scavengers Odyssey.
Today, Lead Designer Simon Hermitage went in-depth on some of the features you might not be aware of in PlayStation VR Worlds. With The London Heist, you’ll find a mode for people less familiar with traditional gaming that adds laser sights to the guns and reduces damage done to you. “With this mode enabled, you can experience The London Heist as more of an interactive story and still get to the dramatic finale,” he says. Also in The London Heist, there’s four shooting ranges where you can practice shooting shop mannequins, wooden shapes, and bouncing car tires before entering the story mode. Each shooting range has laser-sighted and unassisted versions, as well as leaderboards.
Along with leaderboards, here’s what you can expect from Dangerball and Luge:
Dangerball and Luge also have leaderboards to bring out your competitive side.
