Robinson: The Journey PS4 Pro Support Discussed, Day One Update Is 1GB

Releasing this week for PlayStation VR, Robinson: The Journey from Crytek will support PlayStation 4 Pro. Speaking with WCCFTech, Game Director Elijah Freeman explained what PS4 Pro owners can expect from Robinson:
For PS4 Pro players, the technical enhancements Sony has outlined will be in evidence ? these include higher rendering resolution, enhanced SSDO/SSAO lighting effects, longer view distances, higher quality texture filtering, and more seamless LOD (level of detail) generation. From our side, the scalability of CryEngine and the high level of visual fidelity it allows for has made the process of supporting both platforms very smooth and something that we?re well equipped for. We?re confident that players on [PS4 and PS4 Pro] will be very happy with what they see. Freeman also revealed that Robinson is rendered at 60 frames-per-second and, after multiple playtests from developers and first-timer players, they expect the playtime “to run to at least five hours on average.” Since each environment includes lots of items, secrets, and lore to discover and interact with, your playtime may differ.
Over on Twitter, the Robinson: The Journey said there won’t be a free demo. Additionally, the game only supports the use of a DualShock 4 at launch, but Crytek says, “We are looking into the possibility of adding Move support but it won’t be happen at launch.”
The digital version of Robinson is only available for pre-order in Euro...
