With one week to go until The Last Guardian launches in North America for PlayStation 4, Sony has released two unboxing videos for the Collector’s Edition. The first video sees Sid Shuman and Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida taking a look at the steelbook, statue, artbook, and more included in the North American Collector’s Edition, while the second video sees PlayStation Access opening up the European Collector’s Edition.

In a message at the end of the video, Yoshida said, “I’d like to say thank you to all of you – fans of PlayStation, fans of Ueda-san’s work. For all the years we’ve been working on this title, we were able to maintain our momentum and energy and passion because we knew that you were waiting to play this game. And I hope you enjoy this game when it comes out. The Last Guardian is for you.”
As part of the press kit sent to media, this message from director Fumito Ueda was included, saying The Last Guardian is an experience unlike any other:
