Team Ninja Ends Dead or Alive 5 Development, Says It’s Time to “Look Into the Future”



Dead or Alive 5 has been available for over five years, and it’s been supported with new content and DLC from Team Ninja the entire time. However, support for the game is finally coming to an end. The announcement was made today, but Team Ninja brand manager Yosuke Hayashi assured fans that the “Dead or Alive team is very active” despite Dead or Alive 5 finally coming to an end.
Director Yohei Shimbori also had a message for fans. “It is time to stop what we are doing for now and look into the future,” said Shimbori. “Which means we may not be around for some time, but we are very much looking forward to seeing you again someday. And I hope you will maintain your love for Dead or Alive, and keep on fighting!” Check out the full Dead or Alive announcement below:

Actually, combat in general would be pretty bland and generic if not for the interact-able and partially destructible stages. Just like in Injustice, punching your enemy into certain areas of the stage can result in some pretty intense things.
