If you played previous seasons of The Walking Dead and want to import your save data to The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, Telltale Games has explained exactly how that will happen. Additionally, if you haven’t played any previous seasons, or don’t have access to your save data, they’ve also detailed how you can tailor your story for season three.

Starting with those who have a Season Two save file, importing your save file on the same device will be as simple as pushing a button:
If you?re playing on the same device, and you still have your old Season Two save, you can import them directly. When you start Season Three, you?ll be prompted if you?d like to import your Season Two save. If you have a Season Two save file on an older device (such as a PlayStation 3) and want to import it to a newer device (such as a PlayStation 4), you’ll need to have access to your older device:
If you want to play on a new device, and still have your old device and old Season Two saves. Then we?ve done our best to help you out. We?ve updated Season Two (on all platforms) to include Telltale Cloud Saves. You?ll need to update your app, launch Season Two, create a Telltale Account (if you don?t already have one) and then enable Cloud Saves and upload your Season Two save. When you launch Season Three, you?ll be able to login to your Telltale Account and download the Cloud Save, then you?re good to go!
