‘Fortnite’ Patch 9.30 Has Begun Rolling Out with the Chug Splash, Sound Improvements, Auto Pickup Changes on Mobile, and More
Fortnite (Free) Season 9 is going on right now with new points of interest across the map. Read about the big new season and Battle Pass here. If you’ve been out of the loop with Fortnite for a while, you can play with 60fps gameplay on certain mobile devices now and full cross platform play is a reality. Today, Patch 9.30 has begun rolling out on all platforms and it includes the Chug Splash, Sniper Shootout Duos LTM, grenade sound fixes, auto pickup radius increase for mobile, and more.
This patch adds the Chug Splash beverage that instantly grants players within its radius 20 health or shield. If you are at full health, it will grant shield. It can heal allies and enemies. This week’s limited time mode rotation features the Sniper Shootout Duos, Trios for Battle Royale, and Solid Gold Squads. On iOS and Android, the auto pickup radius for items has been increased. Texture issues have also been addressed for Android devices for Lava. Bluetooth controller matchmaking issues have also been addressed in 9.30.
