Last fall The Secret Police released an iOS port of Stardew Valley ($7.99), the immensely popular farm-simulator RPG developed by ConcernedApe and published by Chucklefish. For years fans had been clamoring for a mobile port of the hit game as it seemed like a perfect fit for the touchscreen. The iOS version did not disappoint, and we loved it in both our review and in our Game of the Week writeup. And since that iOS release the developers have been constantly working to bring numerous updates to the game which have included a lot of various fixes and tons of new control options. Well Android folks, your time is about to come. ConcernedApe has updated their blog today with news on the forthcoming Android port of Stardew Valley. While no release date was announced, it’s said to be “on its way" and as of today you can pre-register for the game over on the Google Play Store. The Android version should be right in line with the iOS version. It’ll cost $7.99 and be current up to the 1.3 version of the game on other platforms, though like on iOS it won’t include the multiplayer element.
