‘Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales’ from CD Projekt Red Just Launched on iOS as a Premium Release with Cross Platform Progression across PC



When CD Projekt Red finally announced and eventually released GWENT on iOS, I was glad to see the company bring it to mobile. Games like that play best on touchscreens for a lot of people and it made me wonder if Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales would ever be feasible for mobile. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is a singleplayer RPG set in the world of The Witcher from CD Projekt Red that debuted on PC and consoles a while ago. It looked exactly like something I would enjoy so I got it on Xbox One and didn’t play much initially. I felt like it would be more fun on a portable since this has GWENT gameplay but singleplayer. The game finally came to Switch as well bringing the 25+ hour campaign to a portable and it got a surprise launch on iOS. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales ($9.99) is now available on iOS as a premium release. Watch the trailer for the iOS version below:
Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales had some performance issues when it launched on consoles earlier and still isn’t perfect on Nintendo Switch from what I can see. Hopefully it plays well on iOS devices. After GWENT has consistently been getting updates across PC and mobile, it is great to see CD Projekt Red bring Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales to iOS as well. It is available now for $9.99 on the App Store. The game supports progress sync with PC and it will be coming to Android in the future. It needs 4 GB of space on iOS And is a premium release.
