As an iPhone X owner I’m always on the hunt for games that get updated to take advantage of the full screen of Apple’s latest iPhone, especially when they’re older games that have a permanent place on my device. So today I was doubly happy to see updates to two of the App Store’s most classic matching games as both 10000000 ($2.99) and its follow-up You Must Build A Boat ($2.99) from EightyEight Games, aka solo indie developer Luca Redwood, have received iPhone X support. If you’re unfamiliar with either, the story of 10000000 started when our own Eli Hodapp plucked it out of obscurity and thrust a 5 star review on it the week it released. The name of the game was weird, the graphics were nothing to write home about, and the icon was “bad." So what the heck was so great about 10000000" The gameplay of course. Frantic tile-matching was married with fast-paced dungeon crawling and combat to create an experience unlike anything else on mobile at the time. Following our review 10000000 blew up in the mobile gaming and in the mainstream gaming world and went on to become an absolute classic.
