Hello everyone, and welcome to the week! It’s time once again for our look back at the noteworthy updates of the last seven days. While things have definitely slowed down thanks to the current situation in the world, all those awesome developers out there are still doing their best to bring us fun stuff to check out in this article each week. DOOM, $4.99

I’ll be frank: I think in many ways this new mobile version of DOOM is never going to be as good as Carmack’s original port. But I appreciate that they keep trying. This latest update adds a new free add-on episode and also makes a number of improvements to things like sound effects, performance, and so on. Most of the biggest updates are to the audio, which I’m glad to see as DOOM has an outstanding aural presence. Note this update also hit DOOM II, but I’m only including one of them because that is the way of our ancient ancestors.
