'Escape: Close Call' is All About Avoiding Accidents with Style, Coming to iOS Soon
Pako - Car Chase Simulator [$0.99 / Free] has been one of my favorite mobile games since its release way back in the summer of 2014, and its success has seemed to spawn plenty of similar titles in the years since. The object of Pako is to outrun an increasingly aggressive police pursuit for as long as possible while avoiding hitting other vehicles or objects in the terrain. Tarboosh Games took that concept and built a game around the avoidance and near-misses themselves, scoring you on how stylish and risky you can get with them. The game is called Escape: Close Call and it launched on Steam back in March of this year, and is now heading to the iOS platform.

One of the cool things about Escape: Close Call is how cinematic the close calls feel, with the action slowing down as you narrowly avoid vehicles and they inevitably end up crashing into each other and exploding into the sky. It's pretty awesome! Close Call also features 25 unique vehicles to play with as well as 12 different power-ups to mix and match during play. Tarboosh is currently looking for beta testers in our forums so if you want a chance to help shape this mobile release be sure to post your interest, and look for Escape: Close Call on the App Store at some point in the (hopefully) near future.
