GDC 2018: 'Project Spin' is the Next Game from the Developers of 'Steppy Pants'
By now I'm sure everyone reading TouchArcade has played Steppy Pants [Free], and if you haven't, you need to fix that problem. Super Entertainment had their new game to show off at GDC, and it's called Project Spin. Basically, Project Spin is a rhythm game that you control by spinning a wheel around to hit notes and other musical obstacles. Check it out:

Not shown in the video, but also really cool is that since the game uses a wheel mechanic, they've also built in support for the various DJ turntables out there to play the game that way. Here's a brief look at that from PAX:

I really dig this sort of stuff, music games that actually feel like you're playing a music game, particularly on mobile, are few and far between. Project Spin really nails this and I'm excited to play it once its finally released.
