Hit PC Hack 'n Slash Game 'Smashing the Battle' Heading to Mobile Courtesy of Magic Cube
This past May, developer Studio HG released their stylish hack 'n slash arena battler Smashing the Battle on Windows via Steam, and based on its highly positive ratings, it seems the game was well-recieved by players. It was also one of the launch titles for the Oculus Rift VR platform. Now Studio HG is teaming up with prolific mobile developer and publisher Magic Cube to bring Smashing the Battle to mobile devices. The game features two playable characters, each with their own storylines, sets of special skills, and unlockable costumes. Check out the trailer for Smash the Battle.

For the mobile release, the controls have been heavily revised to suit touchscreens, according to Magic Cube. These types of arena battling games have always worked quite well on mobile, so I'm expecting them to work well here. No price has been given for the mobile version of Smashing the Battle, but Magic Cube expects the game to launch sometime in early October. In the meantime, check out the forum thread to discuss this one.
