Legendary Philly Skate Spot LOVE Park Coming to 'True Skate' this Thursday
Philadelphia's LOVE Park, nicknamed so for Robert Indiana's iconic LOVE sculpture with the tilted O, is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the US. But it holds an extra special place in the hearts of skateboarders. LOVE Park is a legendary skate spot, from its many planter ledges, to ramps made from propped up grates, to the massive four set leading down into its central fountain, this park has had a presence in skateboarding for decades. Now, the top skateboarding game for iOS is getting a little LOVE when Love Park arrives as a downloadable course for True Skate [$1.99] this Thursday. Here's Philadelphia skateboarding icon Josh Kalis taking the digital version of LOVE Park for a test drive, followed by a couple of screens of the new course.

Many of True Skate's DLC courses have been original locations created by True Axis, save for the SLS courses and the Skate Park of Tampa, so I'm really excited to finally see a recreation of a legendary street spot like LOVE Park. I hope that trend continues with even more real-world locations in the future. In addition to LOVE Park, this update will also include a new "deck slot" feature that will let you create up to 10 different custom decks and switch between them at will. Look for this latest True Skate update to hit by this Thursday.
