One of the biggest cult hits amongst our community over the years has been Nimian Legends: BrightRidge. It’s an open-world 3rd-person adventure game that originally launched back in July of 2014 as a years long passion project of solo developer Robert Kabwe aka Protopop Games. It lacked most of the structure and storyline you’d expect from a typical open-world action RPG and instead focused on the joy of exploration, and featured a huge and interesting world where you could do just that. In 2016 a fully revamped HD version of Nimian Legends was released and over the years the developer has added to the game tremendously, including many of those previously missing things like a story campaign and a more traditional action RPG structure. At its heart though, Nimian Legends: BrightRidge is all about getting lost in an awesome fantasy world, and now its sequel wants to offer another huge world to explore.
