PAX West 2019: ‘Cat Quest 2’ Continues to Look Great Ahead of Steam Launch this Month
In May of last year, developer The Gentlebros announced Cat Quest 2, a full sequel to their popular action RPG Cat Quest ($4.99) which originally launched in the second half of 2017 on iOS, Android, desktop, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. We adored Cat Quest in our 5 star review from back then, and picked it as our runner-up for Game of the Year 2017. It’s one of those games that does just about everything right and is just a lot of fun. For the sequel The Gentlebros are focusing on the desktop and console versions first, with a mobile version coming sometime down the line. Just a couple of weeks ago it was announced that the Steam version of Cat Quest 2 will be arriving September 24th, and the console version will come before the end of the year. As for the mobile version The Gentlebros will have more to announce about it soon. In the meantime we dropped by the Cat Quest 2 booth at PAX West 2019 to scope out the playable demo, check out the video of it in action below and as always we’ll let you know when any more mobile version news is announced.
