More Pokémon from the Hoenn region are joining Pokemon GO [Free] from tomorrow. This addition brings many Dragon-type and Flying-type Pokémon into the game for the first time. There will also be a new Legendary Pokémon in the form of Rayquaza. Rayquaza joins Raid Battles for a limited time. To celebrate this event, Hoenn region Pokémon will take over wild encounters until a day before Valentine?s Day. This includes the likes of Salamence, Altaria, Metagross, and more.

There will be more than 100 Hoenn region Pokémon joining Pokémon GO with this event. Valentine?s Day will see Legendary Water-type Pokémon Kyogre leave Raid Battles. There will be new special boxes in the in game store until February 23rd that include Raid Passes, Incubators, and Star Pieces. Lure Modules get an extended 6 hour duration as well until the same day. Rayquaza Raid Battles will be on in Gyms until March 16th. This will also let you stand a chance at getting all three ancient Legendary Pokémon from the Hoenn region. Check out our forum thread on Pokémon GO here.
