While the App Store is home to MANY racing games, there aren’t a whole lot of options for specifically rally racing games. And of the ones that were out there, none were much more than just OK. But back in mid-2016 developer Brownmonster changed all that when they released the hands-down best rally racing game on the App Store Rush Rally 2 ($0.99). It offered an incredible amount of content, multiple game modes, tons of different tracks and vehicles, and overall was just a stunningly complete package. Most importantly though is that Rush Rally 2 nailed the physics of rally racing, and straddled the line between arcade and simulation perfectly so it was still highly approachable without being unrealistic. We absolutely loved it in our review and I can hardly believe it’s been almost three years since Rush Rally 2 released. In October of last year we learned that Brownmonster was working on a third game in the series and was kicking off a beta test for it, and today we now know when Rush Rally 3 will finally be arriving: March 29th.
